As part of #NationalLoveYourPetDay, BLACK+DECKER™ announces its first-ever line of home cleaning products designed specifically for pet owners. The new lineup includes Cordless Lithium-Ion Hand Vacuums, a 20V MAX* 2in1 Cordless Vacuum, and Robotic Vacuums. Each new cordless vacuum integrates specialized anti-tangle beater bars with rubberized bristles to pick up pet hair around the home.
The new BLACK+DECKER Cordless Lithium-Ion Hand Vacuums ($69 – $99 MSRP) are ideal for quick pick-ups of pet hair. These hand vacuums come with a powered brush attachment with anti-tangle bristles to pick up stubborn pet hair. The premium new handheld vacuums use SMARTECH™ Sensing Features to streamline cleaning for the homeowner. When the beater bar attachment is attached to the hand vacuum, AutoSense™ automatically adjusts power when used on hard surfaces or upholstery. PowerBoost™ increases suction power for difficult cleaning tasks at the push of a button and can be turned down to standard (or first speed) mode when the user is cleaning more delicate items. In addition, BatterySense™ shows how much battery charge remains with three LED white light indicators. Finally, one of three models (HHVJ325BMP07) includes a scented pre-filter to help keep your pet-loving home smelling fresh.
The 20V MAX* 2in1 Cordless Vacuum ($179 MSRP) features a powered floor attachment head, which uses a rubber beater bar to catch stubborn pet hair, kitty litter, dry pet food, and more. As a 2in1 vacuum, you get two vacuums in one – for vacuuming floors and picking up small messes. The main power source is the battery-powered, removable Cordless Lithium-Ion Hand Vacuum, which comes with the same powered brush attachment mentioned above. Furthermore, the included fresh linen scented filter is designed to neutralize pet odors around the home. Integrated SMARTECH™ sensing technology includes PowerBoost™, BatterySense™, and AutoSense™ as well as FilterSense™, which alerts the user with an illuminated LED icon when the filter needs to be cleaned.
In addition, the recently announced SMARTECH™ Robotic Vacuums are also offered with a focus for pet owners. The Lithium-Ion Robotic Vacuums ($349 – $399 MSRP) feature the same anti-tangle rubber bristles as the hand and 2in1 vacuums and come with a large-capacity dustbin that holds more pet hair and debris than the competition, among other features. Finally, Lithium-Ion batteries are one of the keys to the performance of these vacuums, as they hold a charge for up to 18 months and provide long battery life. Lithium-Ion batteries provide consistent, rechargeable power to the new vacuums. Other key features of the vacuums include washable dustbins and washable and replaceable filters and pre-filters. Available Spring 2017 at retailers nationwide, the 2in1 vacuum and hand vacuums will come with a two year limited warranty while the robotic vacuums will come with a one year limited warranty.
