ALEXANDRIA, VA – Alexandria is calling for applicants to fill vacancies on dozens of boards, commissions, and advisory groups — the volunteer bodies that help shape decisions on housing, history, transportation, land use, arts, and more. All applications must be submitted electronically by 5:00 p.m. on November 29, 2025, and the City Council will make appointments at its December 9 meeting. Applicants may apply for only one committee at a time.
