Best Films: Alexandria Film Festival Announces 2020 Winners

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Yesterday afternoon, the Alexandria Film Festival (AFF) announced the winners of this year’s festival that took place from Nov. 12-15.

Best of Fest: “9 to 5” Julia Reichert and Steven Bognar

Joe Cantwell Award for Excellence in Documentary Filmmaking: “Trust Me” Roko Belic, Joe Phelps, Michael Fallavollita

Audience Award: “The Legacy Sessions” David Ashton and Silas Brigham

Special Jury Prize: “Anacronte” Raul Koler and Emiliano Sette

Best Foreign Language Film: “Snowland” Jonni Zicoltz

Regional Award: “Beat the Machine” Shannon Washington

Outstanding Performance Award: “Saving Robin Williams” Lawrence Whitener and Roger Kabler
