Adopt Camo: Affectionate and Sociable With People, Loves Kids

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Camo is a 1-year-old handsome brindle dog with a face you can’t help but smile back at. His expressive eyes add to his personality and charm. Camo came to AWLA a little on the thin side, so he has a bit of filling out to do, but nothing that some good groceries can’t fix! AWLA knows that Camo has been in a home with children of varying ages – and he did well with them all! He’s a very affectionate and social guy when it comes to people. He takes treats very gently and knows the cue for sit. Since Camo is still young, he will definitely benefit from an active family who is willing to let him romp and play in the yard or take him for walks, runs or hikes. Camo has been good with some other dogs, so if you have a doggie friend already, AWLA can arrange a meet and greet at the shelter.

The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA) is located at 4101 Eisenhower Ave. Founded in 1946, the AWLA has supported and served as a resource for homeless animals. The organization remains an integral part of the community by providing opportunities for adoption, spay and neuter assistance, education, and outreach. To learn more, visit alexandriaanimals.org.
