National Breast Center Foundation Rebrands as Breast Cancer Collective
The new name reflects a decade of community-powered impact
Alexandria, VA – After ten years of helping ensure women across the region receive the breast cancer screenings and support they need, the National Breast Center Foundation is proud to announce its new name: Breast Cancer Collective.
The new name reflects what the organization has become — a true collective of care, hope, and action, built by a community of survivors, supporters, volunteers, and advocates working together to make sure no woman faces breast cancer alone.
“This rebrand isn’t just about a new name or logo — it’s a promise,” said Martha Carucci, executive director. “A promise to continue transforming breast cancer care in our community through collaboration, compassion, and access.”
Over the past decade, the Collective has brought together thousands through fundraising walks and tournaments, community partnerships, and advocacy for equitable access to early detection and treatment. Its mission remains steadfast: to eliminate barriers and provide timely, lifesaving care to all who need it.
Founder and surgeon David Weintritt said, “Whether you need care, want to support our mission, or are ready to add your voice to ours, you’re now part of something bigger. Together, we are transforming breast cancer care so that no woman faces this journey alone.”
