DONATIONS SOUGHT: Ties and Dresses Needed for First-Ever Teen Sneaker Ball in Alexandria, June 2

Mocktails, Photo Booth, Games -- Kids Encouraged to Dress Stylishly

ALEXANDRIA, VA – On Friday, June 2 from 8-10:30 p.m., teens ages 13-19 are invited to the first-ever Sneaker Ball at Charles Houston Recreation Center. This event is free and participants are encouraged to dress in their most stylish outfit and hottest pair of sneakers. The event will also have mocktails, games, music, a 360 photo booth and more. Charles Houston is also currently accepting donations for the event. The team is seeking neckties and bow ties, dresses, men’s and women’s pantsuits, lightly used sneakers and dress shirts. Sizes needed are:

  • Women’s Sizes XS-2XL, 0-18, and Shoe Sizes 4Y-11 Adult
  • Men’s Sizes S-XL, 29-50 Waist and Shoe Sizes 5Y-16
