Love a Parade? Enjoy the George Washington Parade on Monday, February 17

Parade starts at 1 p.m.

Alexandria, VA – All Alexandrians are welcome to join in the annual celebration of our nation’s first leader! This city’s parade is the oldest and largest in the country marking George Washington’s Birthday. This year’s edition kicks off at 1 p.m. on Fairfax Street. The one-mile route ends on Royal Street.

This year’s theme is “Selfless Service to Country” and highlights Music and the Performing Arts.

A graduate of George Mason University, he earned a bachelor's in English with a concentration in Creative Writing.
