Alexandria, VA – After a stretch of snowflakes and biting cold kept many diners indoors, Alexandria Restaurant Week is giving food lovers a welcome reason to head back out. Organizers announced Wednesday that the popular culinary celebration has been extended by an additional seven days, allowing nearly 100 participating restaurants to continue offering special menus through Sunday, Feb. 8.

Originally scheduled to end on Feb. 1, the event now spans 17 days and three full weekends, creating even more opportunities to savor Alexandria’s diverse dining scene. Guests can enjoy thoughtfully curated prix-fixe dinners priced at $35, $45, or $55 per person, along with special promotions from local fast-casual spots.

The extension is especially timely for residents and visitors who postponed plans due to winter weather. With an extra week on the calendar, diners can take their time exploring menus and neighborhoods alike. From the historic charm of Old Town and Old Town North to the lively streets of Del Ray, Carlyle, Eisenhower, Arlandria-Chirilagua, and the West End, Alexandria Restaurant Week showcases the city’s rich mix of flavors and communities.

Whether it’s a long-awaited night out, a neighborhood favorite, or a chance to try somewhere new, the added days ensure there’s still plenty of time to pull up a chair and dig in.
