Sharbat Bakery and Café Opening New Location in Alexandria

Alexandria, VA – Sharbat Bakery & Café is moving into the space formerly occupied by Chewish Deli at 1640 King St. The restaurant currently has a location at 2473 18^th St. NW, in Washington, DC. The bakery offers authentic Azerbaijani sweet and savory pastries like pistachio-filled baklava, a variety of cakes, shawarma sandwiches, and plated bites.  In addition to serving all-day breakfast, they plan to be will be serving both lunch and dinner options. There will be 18 seats available inside. The restaurant is planning an outdoor patio with dfour tables with seating for 10-12 guests.

The shop will also feature a small selection of handmade items from Azerbaijan and branded items.
