Alexandria, VA – Need breakfast? Need coffee? Taco Bamba is open at 8:00 a.m. for tacos and coffee. They are providing free Café Bustelo every morning at their Shirlington location, 4041 Campbell Ave.

Taco Bamba originated in Falls Church in 2013 by Chef Victor Albisu, a Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef who knows tacos. This chain of taquerias offers a unique menu for each location tailored to its neighborhood. The menu is well known for its original takes on familiar taco items.

Vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free diners can enjoy these tacos too. Corn tortillas and many fillings are gluten free but be aware, the kitchen fryers are not gluten-free. The Spicy ‘Shroom made with chipotle portobellos, grilled corn, pickled onion, and pepitas can be made vegan by asking to hold the cheese. Their corn tortillas, pinto beans, rice, and most salsas are plant-based.

Breakfast items include any of their tacos. “Put An Egg On It” is a popular breakfast addition. The Tighty Whitey is made with smoked maple chipotle chicken chorizo, eggs, fries, bacon, Alabama white queso, avocado, and sweet chili sauce.
