APPLY NOW: Alexandria Choral Society to Award $1K Grant to Youth Ensemble

ALEXANDRIA, VA-The Alexandria Choral Society will once again present its Sing-Off Grant to a youth ensemble. The $1,000 grant will go toward supporting the ensemble’s music program.

According to a release, ACS will select a youth ensemble to perform during our March 2025 concert, entitled Washington Women, which will be held on International Women’s Day, Saturday, March 8th, at the George Washington Masonic Memorial.”

To be eligible:

  • Ensembles must consist of no fewer than 12 and no more than 40 singers.
  • Each application must include a performance video submission that is no older than ten months and accurately represents the applicant ensemble.
  • Audio quality of the recording must be clear. The recorded performance video must present one or more choral works at least two minutes in length in any language.
  • For this grant cycle, treble ensembles are encouraged to apply to coincide with the concert theme Washington Women.​
