Tickets Available: CAC Gala and Benefit Concert Feb. 1

ALEXANDRIA, VA-The Center for Alexandria’s Children (CAC), which works to end child abuse, is hosting its annual gala and benefit concert on Saturday, Feb. 1 from 6 to 10:30 pm. The venue for Banding Together to End Child Abuse is the Oswald Durant Center (1605 Cameron St.). Tickets are available now.

The evening will also honor The Hon. Constance H. Frogale, Chief Judge Alexandria Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court with the Outstanding Dedication to Children Award; Dr. Tammy Mann, President and CEO of the Campagna Center with the Champion for Children Award; and Judy Harmatz, Former Center Board Member and Former CAC Board Member and Leader in the Creation of the Learn&PlayGroup Curriculum with the Champion for Children Award.

“We are proud to honor these remarkable individuals who have made and are continuing to make a lasting impact on the well-being of children in our community,” said Giselle Pelaez, Executive Director of CAC. “Their dedication to improving the lives of children and families inspires us all, and we are thrilled to celebrate their achievements at this special event.”

7 pm: Doors Open
7 – 8 pm: Blue North
8:15 – 9 pm: CAC Remarks, Program, and Awards Presentation
9 – 10 pm: Guilty Ghost

All proceeds from ticket sales benefit CAC programs that prevent child abuse, help survivors, and advocate for child welfare. There are various sponsorship levels for the night. Dr. Mann is being recognized for her exceptional work with The Campagna Center, where she has been a leading force in providing vital resources to children and families. Her efforts in early childhood education and family support continue to make a lasting impact.

Judy Harmatz will be honored for her career commitment to education and leadership in the creation of the Learn&PlayGroup curriculum, which has become an essential resource for child development and education.
