Woof! Olde Towne School for Dogs Hosts 50th Anniversary Celebration Saturday, Nov. 8

Alexandria, VA — With hopes for continued success over “the next 50 years” of canine caring, grooming, and training, the Olde Towne School for Dogs is hosting a 50th Anniversary Celebration sidewalk party this Saturday, Nov. 8, featuring foods and treats for their doggie guests and their two-legged companions. Free bandanas will be available to all!

Besides grilled hot dogs (possible pun intended), the 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. event will feature local vendors including samples from Pawfectly Delicious, Teddy’s Turmeric Tamer, Annamaet Pet Foods, OC Raw, and Operation Paws for Homes. Plans include doggie games, a raffle for a gift basket, services, and gifts, and up to 20% off of store stock items. 

The Old Towne School for Dogs, located in the heart of Old Town at 529 Oronoco St., is hosting the celebration as a “Thank You Event” for the entire Alexandria community and beyond, as pet-loving clients also extend to the surrounding D.C. region. Proceeds from Saturday’s anniversary party will go to the foster home/rescue operation of “Operation Paws for Homes.”
