Alexandria, VA – A fresh concept is making its debut in Old Town Alexandria as Cherry On Top officially celebrated its grand opening on July 10 with a ribbon cutting. The shop is dedicated to community, connection, and collaboration with fellow local small businesses. Guests are invited to enjoy coffee, wine, exclusive experiences, and a variety of surprises during the celebration as Cherry On Top introduces its unique vision for hospitality—one centered on thoughtfully curated gatherings rather than traditional café service.

Cherry On Top is More Than a Neighborhood Café

While Cherry On Top originally began as the vision for a charming neighborhood café, the concept evolved into a destination designed to slow the pace of everyday life. Located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, the venue was created to provide an intimate setting where wine, art, and meaningful conversation come together. The goal is to offer guests an experience that feels welcoming, refined, and intentionally personal.

Cherry On Top emphasizes smaller gatherings where visitors can relax around a beautifully prepared table, enjoy carefully selected wines, and connect with others in an inviting atmosphere. The business hopes to become more than just another stop in Old Town. It aims to offer a welcoming space where memorable conversations, shared experiences, and carefully curated events create lasting connections within the Alexandria community.

Curated Experiences Take Center Stage

  • Seasonal Lawn Gatherings: When weather permits, outdoor evenings will showcase the charm of Old Town Alexandria while offering guests a unique setting to enjoy wine and conversation.
  • Cultural and Creative Evenings: Special collaborations with local artists, musicians, and performers will bring creative programming to the venue through thoughtfully curated events.
  • Private Wine Education: Small-group educational tastings will also be available by request, providing personalized experiences for friends, families, or private gatherings.
