Alexandria, VA – Join the Del Ray community for the 6th Annual Bands & Brews Bar Crawl, a special summer event featuring live music at 20+ restaurants and venues to benefit The Scholarship Fund of Alexandria. Bands & Brews takes place on Saturday, August 15, from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. along Mount Vernon Avenue in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria.
This fun community event benefits The Scholarship Fund of Alexandria, a nonprofit that assists Alexandria City High School students and their families by providing college and career advising, scholarship opportunities, workshops and events, and more. Last year alone, The Scholarship Fund of Alexandria awarded $1.6 million to support 400+ Alexandria City High School graduates.
Advance tickets for Bands & Brews are $15 ($25 at the door) and include specials on cocktails, beer, mocktails, and food at each of the participating restaurants, live music at every venue, trolley transportation, a costume contest, raffles, a photo booth, fun giveaways, and more – plus new Yacht Rock, Western, and Retro zones. Crawl participants must be 21 or older, but children and families are welcome at family-friendly establishments and in the Family Fun Zone at the Pat Miller Neighborhood Square, located at the intersection of Mount Vernon and Oxford Avenues.
