Alexandria, VA – This year, the Taste of Old Town North and the Taste of Del Ray are taking new forms.
The Reimagined Taste of Old Town North is a two-month stroll through the neighborhood, April 21 through June 21 and is an opportunity for neighbors and friends to sample the goods and services of OTN’s local businesses and do some good. A percentage of ticket sales will benefit ALIVE! During the Taste, participating businesses will offer discounts to Taste Passport Holders. Passports are available for purchase on the Old Town North Website (oldtownnorth.org/) and at the Community Table at the OTN Thursday Farmer’s Market.
And the 12th Annual Taste of Del Ray is going CURBSIDE! The event, named one of Virginia Living Magazine’s top food festivals, will shift to a weekend-long take-out format from Friday, June 4 to Sunday, June 6. Participating restaurants will offer participants up to three select “tastes” for just $5 each. Restaurants are also encouraged to offer cocktail pairings to complement their dishes.
