Alexandria, VA – Mayor Wilson has served as mayor since 2019 and on City Council for 14 years. He was invited to the Helping Hands class to speak about his favorite U.S. President. “My favorite President is FDR, Franklin Delano Roosevelt. He got us through WWII, got us out of the Depression. Those were pretty important milestones.”

Mayor Wilson also talked about his job duties and the important services the city provides its residents. The children were excited to discuss the Police Department, Fire Department, Trash services and PIZZA! Mayor Wilson has decided not to run for re-election. (www.trinitypreschoolalexandria.com)
