60 Screenings Planned for Annual Alexandria Film Festival Nov. 10-12

ALEXANDRIA, VA- Movie buffs rejoice! The Alexandria Film Festival  (AFF) returns this weekend, Nov. 10-12.  The festival, which showcases the work of local national, and international filmmakers, gathers 40 directors, actors, and producers for “Meet the Filmmaker” events all weekend.

See as many as 25 premieres, including  four world premieres.  For a complete schedule of events, click HERE.   Films will be shown at  Beatley Library (5005 Duke St.),  AMC Hoffman Center (206 Hoffman St.), and  The Lyceum (201 S. Washington St.).

Friday is free admission while Saturday and Sunday are paid entry. Tickets and passes are available HERE.

The film guide on the AFF’s website offers a summary and credit for each film. as well as trailers. There are 20 themes to choose from so take a look. You’re sure to find something of interest, whether its documentaries, shorts or feature length movies.

A graduate of George Mason University, he earned a bachelor's in English with a concentration in Creative Writing.
