Ninety Take Citizenship Oath at Mount Vernon on the Fourth of July

Welcoming the newly naturalized U.S. citizens were, from left, Dr. Patrick Spero, Executive Director, The George Washington Presidential Library at Mount Vernon; Kimberly Zanotti, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Washington Field Office Director; David (Bert) Roberts, Supervisory Immigration Services Officer, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Washington Field Office, and George Washington.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services welcomed 90 new U.S. citizens, including 11 military members, during a special Independence Day naturalization ceremony at George Washington’s Mount Vernon. The new citizens came from 53 countries.
