Adopt Buddy: Playful Dog Has Excellent House Manners

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Buddy came to AWLA from a rescue partner in Texas. He is two years old with the most smoochable, smooshy face and little stubbed tail. His wrinkles give him so much character and his unique fawn pattern and different color eyes just add to his appeal. His previous owners report that he lived with kids of different ages and cats. They also said he was a playful guy who really enjoyed fetch and Frisbee. He is reported to have excellent house manners and be crate trained. Buddy is a fan favorite here and is such a love. We think he would thrive in a home without other dogs so he can be the center of all canine attention.

The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA) is located at 4101 Eisenhower Ave. Founded in 1946, the AWLA has supported and served as a resource for homeless animals. The organization remains an integral part of the community by providing opportunities for adoption, spay and neuter assistance, education, and outreach. To learn more, visit alexandriaanimals.org.
