It’s Girl Scout Cookie Time!

Alexandria, VA – Girl Scout cookie season has officially returned, bringing with it the joy of familiar tastes and a few sweet surprises. Proceeds from cookie sales remain within local troops and councils, helping fund programs and experiences that support skill-building throughout the year.

This season, Girl Scouts of the USA is offering classics like Thin Mints while introducing an exciting new addition to the lineup: Exploremores™. Inspired by the flavors of rocky road ice cream, the sandwich-style cookie blends rich chocolatey layers with a playful, adventurous spirit. GSUSA says the new cookie reflects the curiosity and courage at the heart of every Girl Scout, celebrating their drive to try new things and explore what’s possible. Sadly, Toast-Yay! and S’mores have been retired.

Cookie season is nationally recognized from January through April; availability varies by region. Shoppers can check local council websites or search by ZIP code to find nearby booths and participating troops. Visit girlscouts.org and click on the Cookies tab.

Here is the list of this year’s flavors:

  • Adventurefuls: Indulgent brownie-inspired cookies topped with caramel-flavored crème with a hint of sea salt
  • Caramel Chocolate Chip: Chewy cookies with rich caramel, semisweet chocolate chips, and a hint of sea salt
  • Caramel deLites | Samoas: Crisp cookies with caramel, coconut, and chocolatey stripes
  • Peanut Butter Sandwich | Do-si-dos: Crunchy oatmeal sandwich cookies with peanut butter filling
  • Exploremores: Sandwich cookies with chocolate, marshmallow, and almond-flavored creme
  • Lemonades: Savory, refreshing shortbread cookies topped with a tangy lemon-flavored icing
  • Lemon-Ups: Crispy lemon cookies baked with inspiring messages
  • Peanut Butter Patties | Tagalongs: Crispy cookies layered with peanut butter and covered with a chocolatey coating
  • Thin Mints: Crisp, chocolate cookies dipped in a delicious mint chocolate coating
  • Toffee-tastic: Rich, buttery cookies with sweet, crunchy toffee bits
  • Trefoils: Shortbread cookies inspired by the original Girl Scout cookie recipe
