Growing Pride will consist of 15 local LGBTQ+ makers and allies with locally crafted goods available for sale, yoga, rock climbing, live music, kid activities, and more! There will also be food trucks and treats to enjoy, such as delicious BBQ from Hog-it-Up BBQ, and Anita’s Frozen Cotton Candy! Some notable musicians and bands that will be in attendance include PRINCESS, Hunter Lang, and Lacklustre. When asked what aspect of the event was in her opinion, the most noteworthy, Alyssa Kovach stated that “We are looking forward to enjoying a day of community through good food, great music, amazing local makers, and fun activities for the whole family. It’s hard to pinpoint the “piece de resistance” because each person and brand involved really amplifies the event as a whole.”
