ALEXANDRIA, VA – Looking for a wedding story as timeless as Alexandria itself? This May 15, couples can quite literally set sail on love—without ever leaving the dock.

The iconic Tall Ship Providence is hosting a one-of-a-kind wedding experience, inviting couples to exchange vows aboard her historic decks in Old Town. And in true Alexandria fashion, this isn’t just any ceremony—it’s a step back in time.

Clerk of Court Greg Parks will officiate ceremonies dressed in a full 18th-century nautical uniform, joined by a costumed crew that brings colonial flair to life. Whether you lean toward refined colonial elegance or something a little more swashbuckling, Providence offers a setting that’s anything but ordinary.

Ceremonies will take place on the ship’s quarterdeck while docked along Alexandria’s waterfront—offering sweeping views of the Potomac River and a backdrop that feels straight out of history.

What a heartfelt tribute to Susan B. Kellom! It’s clear she made a lasting impact in Alexandria. I wonder how her dedication to community service might inspire future leaders; perhaps even incorporating accessible resources like geometry dash could help engage more residents in civic activities. What do you think?
