Life Alive Organic Cafe Opens in Old Town Alexandria on King Street

Alexandria, VA – Old Town Alexandria is about to get a new dining option focused on wellness, flavor, and community connection. Life Alive Organic Cafe will officially open its doors on June 9 at 7 a.m., introducing its signature plant-forward menu and vibrant café atmosphere to 400 King St. The café provides 70 indoor seats and a 30-seat outdoor patio.
Founded in Boston, Life Alive has built a following around its philosophy of “the power of positive eating,” combining scratch-made meals with nourishing ingredients and bold flavors. The café specializes in a variety of grain bowls, salads, noodles, sandwiches, smoothies, cold-pressed juices, and coffee drinks. Among the menu highlights are dishes such as chili garlic mushroom bibimbap, smoky chipotle chili, and a PB Cup açai bowl. The restaurant’s approach centers on colorful, satisfying meals that are entirely plant-based while still delivering comfort and flavor.
To celebrate the grand opening, the first 100 guests through the doors will receive curated tote bags filled with special goodies. Life Alive is also debuting two Alexandria-exclusive beverages: the King St. Coconut Cloud Matcha and King St. Cold Brew, available throughout opening day while supplies last.
