SSA’s March 21 Senior Living in Alexandria event will be fun. Our popular weekly newsletter, SSA Connection, is coming to you in person! “SSA Connection Live” will feature inspiring guest speakers, interactive presentations, and so much fun!

Steve Gurney, founder of the Positive Aging Community, will give our version of a Ted Talk with tips for living your best life as an older adult. Tara Casagrande, a registered yoga teacher with training in yoga, meditation, and mindfulness, will lead everyone in simple stretching exercises that you can incorporate into your daily routine to feel your best.

The Landing Alexandria’s Executive Chef Stephen Winterling will share an easy-to-make recipe you can recreate in your home.  Participants will also tap into their creative spirit with an easy art project. Diana Price with Beatley Library will keep attendees informed on upcoming events. The March “SSA Connection Live” workshop is free and open to the public, but RSVP by emailing [email protected] or calling 703-836-4414, ext. 110.
