VACANCY: Braddock Metro Neighborhood Plan Advisory Group

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The City of Alexandria is seeking applicants for a Neighborhood at-Large vacancy on the Braddock Metro Neighborhood Plan Implementation Advisory Group (BIAG).

Applicants must live within the Braddock Metro Neighborhood Plan boundary and have experience or interest in areas of importance to the plan, such as historic preservation, schools, transportation, parks, housing affordability, urban design or community activism. The online application must be completed no later than 5 pm. on Thursday, July 1. Submissions received after this deadline will not be considered. Paper copies of the application will be made available upon request.

The BIAG was established by City Council Resolution 2319 in 2009 to provide input to City staff on the implementation of the 2008 Braddock Metro Neighborhood Plan and 2008 Braddock East Master Plan. More information on the implementation of these plans can be found on the project webpage.
