Venturing Out Safely in Alexandria During Phase Two

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Northern Virginia has been in the second phase of reopening for a little less than a week. In a press release, the City of Alexandria provided helpful reminders to encourage people to stay safe in public during the pandemic.

Phase Two of Gov. Ralph S. Northam’s (D-VA) “Forward Virginia” plan leads with a “safer-at-home” policy.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) offers new guidance on how to resume daily activities as safely as possible. For a webpage detailing various scenarios, such as running errands and picking up medicine, click HERE.

If you have coronavirus symptoms, it is important to stay home. Symptoms can include a dry cough, fever, and trouble breathing. If you have trouble breathing, call 911.
