Register Now for Teacher Work Day and Winter Break Camps

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The City of Alexandria’s Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities offers camp options for days when ACPS schools are closed. It’s not too late to register for Fall Teacher Work Day Camps taking place on Tuesday, November 5, and it’s not too early to start planning for Winter Break, taking place December 23 through January 3.

Teacher Work Day and Winter Break Camps provide engaging activities for every interest, including STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics), Sports, Cooking, Superhero and Nature Camps. In addition to the variety of specialties, camps include full day, half day, weekly and daily formats. Winter Break Camps also offer the added option of after care to extend the fun and allow parents a little extra time after work.

Registration is currently available online or in-person at the Registration & Reservation Office (1108 Jefferson St.). Contact the Registration & Reservation Office with questions at 703.746.5414, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
