ALEXANDRIA, VA – Located in Arlandria, Community Lodgings helps people transition from homelessness to new and independent lives. This holiday season, the nonprofit wants to spread the hope they give to clients throughout Alexandria.

The organization has started a yard sign campaign to achieve that goal. The signs are available online for a $25 donation. They feature artwork and quotes from children who participate in Community Lodgings’ Out-of-School-Time program.

Susan Fitzpatrick, Development Director at Community Lodgings, is optimistic about the impact the signs will make.

“These signs will definitely be something that will bring the community some positivity during a time where everyone is so tense and stressed out,” she said.

Proceeds will be used to fund Community Lodgings programs.

The campaign also serves as a way to bring about awareness of the organization’s purpose.
