NOW OPEN: Alexandria Rec Department Begins Spring Program Registration

ALEXANDRIA, VA-Alexandria’s Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities (RPCA) announced today that it is working to “finalize plans for summer programs with City and community partners,” according to a press release.

Meanwhile, registration for spring programs began today at 9 a.m. for residents. Non-residents can register starting March 5.

Like the spring programs, RPCA ensures those interested that summer programs will meet all health and safety requirements, including:

  • Symptom screening;
  • Use of face masks
  • Enhanced cleaning between activity periods
  • Physical distancing
  • Limited capacity

They anticipate that details of summer offerings will be available on March 24. Registration for residents will begin April 7. For non-residents, registration will begin April 9.
