Alexandria Flower Arranging Workshops at Bastille This Fall
Alexandria, VA – Looking for a way to engage in some dramatic creativity and hands-on fun while learning how to put some pizzazz into a floral arrangement? Or maybe you’re just wanting to indulge in something different like a delightful Saturday afternoon of flower arrangement and French food?
Royce Cohen, the distinctive designer of Royce Flowers, is pairing up with the award-winning Bastille Brasserie + Bar on three different Saturday events this fall. A small-group workshop will be offered from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on select Saturdays in September, October, and November with each workshop featuring an exclusive lunch and a glass of French wine along with premium fresh flowers, unique containers, and expert instruction for the price of $150 per workshop.
“My goal is to have participants tap into their own creativity with professional design tips and information for enhancing skills with flower handling and care,” Cohen said. Drawing from her more than 35 years, Cohen will be giving instructions and demonstrations for professional-looking homemade arrangements. The individual workshop dates and themes are:
- 26 – Explore design-color harmony, texture, and balance to create floral arrangements with premium flowers in a range of fall colors.
- 17 – Create a unique Thanksgiving centerpiece using premium flowers.
- 14 – Design festive holiday centerpieces of premium flowers for a variety of presentations.
