DC Favorite Grazie Nonna Expands to North Old Town

Carr Properties Announces Grazie Nonna Opening at 425 Montgomery St.

grazie nonnaAlexandria, Va – DC’s  Italian-American restaurant Grazie Nonna is opening a new location in North Old Town! Grazie Nonna will be the newest addition to 425 Montgomery St. — a residential building currently being developed by Carr Properties.Grazie Nonna is inspired by those Italian-American neighborhood restaurants in the north east that you’ve never heard of, but fall in love with the moment you walk in the door.

Known for its retro flair and award winning menu, Grazie Nonna has built a loyal following in the District with its nostalgic take on red-sauce Italian cuisine. The restaurant’s offerings include everything from baked ziti to oversized New York-style pizzas and handmade pastas — all served in a setting that pays homage to the mom-and-pop joints of Italian-American neighborhoods in the Northeast.
