ALEXANDRIA, VA – The City of Alexandria’s Workforce Development Center (WDC) is dedicated to helping residents find jobs. In previous months, they have held virtual workshops on interviewing and employer meet-and-greets.

WDC began their Strive & Thrive initiative to help people who have experienced job loss during the pandemic. The webpage, available HERE, lists a variety of options to aid in finding employment. These include virtual job fairs and job coaching. There is even a section for youth employment.

Today WDC announced its upcoming August workshops. Next month, attendees can learn how to construct resumes for a particular job, gain confidence for interviews, and acquire skills for job searching.

There are multiple dates and times for most workshops. All are free to attend. Click HERE to take a look and learn more about signing up.
