“Our Alexandria” Dollhouse Exhibit Extended Through December

The Exhibit “Our Alexandria” Dollhouse Collection is the creation of native Alexandrians Sharon Jones Frazier and Linwood Smith. This exhibit captures some of the forgotten businesses, people, and institutions that made African American families strong – church, school, family. Permanent exhibit also on site- “Before the Spirits Are Swept Away “by Sherry Z. Sanabria. Suggested admission $3 per person. Visit www.alexandriava.gov/museums or call 703-476-4356. Alexandria Black History Museum, 902 Wythe Street. Extended through December 2018. Tuesdays – Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
