City and State Health Departments List Job Openings

Alexandria, VA – In its nightly email, the city continues to urge residents to stay at home, unless going out is essential. And when out, they stress the importance of maintaining six feet of distance around others.

Job Openings 

If you have experience in the field of medicine or communications, the Alexandria Health Department (AHD) and Virginia Health Department (VDH) need your help. You can play a direct role in the fight to stop the spread of coronavirus.

In our community, AHD is seeking candidates for the following positions: Communications OfficerSenior EpidemiologistSexual Reproductive Health and Tuberculosis/Newcomer Health.  Clicking on each of the links will provide a job description and give information on how to apply.

VDH is looking for 1,300 contract tracers. People in this position will help find individuals who have been exposed to the virus and ensure they are placed in isolation.
