ALEXANDRIA, VA – In a story released this week, acclaimed magazine Southern Living puts Alexandria at the top of the list when it comes to antiquing in Virginia.

Visit Alexandria agrees stating, “It’s a truism among antique hunters that to find great old things, you have to go to a great old city. Early American antiques abound in the city’s dozens of shops, run by historians devoted to the legacies of their wares.”

Among Zebra readership surveys over the last seven years, the following shops rate best for good finds in Alexandria.
