ALEXANDRIA, VA–The City of Alexandria’s Mount Vernon Recreation Center, 2701 Commonwealth Ave., will be closed from Saturday, August 18 through Monday, September 3 to facilitate center maintenance activities. Visit the Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities’ Neighborhood Centers web page for a list of other centers available to City residents.
