Badger Honor Flight Arrives at Reagan National Airport
Alexandria, VA — On Saturday, November 8, 2025, the Badger Honor Flight from Madison, Wisconsin, arrived at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on American Airlines flight 9752, landing at Terminal 2 around 10:00 a.m.
Ninety veterans, representing those who served the United States during pivotal conflicts, made the journey as part of the mission’s “Trip of a Lifetime.” The flight is part of their day-long exploration of the memorials and monuments in Washington , D.C.
Upon arrival, the veterans were warmly welcomed by volunteers and well-wishers gathered at the gate. This reception set the tone for a day of remembrance and honor, as veterans visited significant sites, including the National World War II Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and the Korean War Veterans Memorial.
The Badger Honor Flight’s one‑day excursion was made possible at no cost to the veterans themselves, thanks to the generous dedication of volunteers, guardians, and donors.
Honor Flights invites volunteers to participate in these memorable and meaningful flights for our country’s veterans. This year’s mission is a tribute to service and sacrifice—an opportunity to honor these heroes and show appreciation. The arrival at Reagan was the first significant milestone of a meaningful, memory‑filled day.
