Celebrating Community and Affordable Housing with Food, Music, and Games
Housing Alexandria to Host Annual Fall Festival
Alexandria, VA — Housing Alexandria is bringing the community together for its annual Fall Festival on Thursday, October 9, 4–8 p.m. at The Garden Alexandria (5380 Eisenhower Ave). Tickets are $10 for students and $60 for adults, available at www.housingalexandria.org.
This family-friendly evening will be packed with food, drinks, music, games, and raffles. The highlight: a live performance by the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra’s youth orchestra, Sympatico. Local favorites will be on hand, including Port City Brewery and food trucks such as Hangry Panda, Minas Tamales, Mac Donut, Lost Boy Cider, and Boba Blass.

Festival proceeds directly support Housing Alexandria’s mission to create and preserve affordable housing, as well as programs like community gardens that bring residents together and provide fresh, healthy food.
The event also celebrates the successful completion of Cardinal Path Homes, which delivers 36 new, energy-efficient homes to low-income, first-time homebuyers. Using a shared equity model, the project ensures affordability for generations to come.

“We are incredibly proud of the Cardinal Path Homes project and the transformative impact it will have on our community,” said Jon Frederick, president and CEO of Housing Alexandria. “This year’s Fall Festival is not just a celebration of our work, but a testament to the community’s unwavering support for our mission. Our affordable housing programs enable individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, including educators, nurses, and law enforcement personnel, to live and thrive in the very community they serve.”
