Alexandria, VA – Just in time to kick off summer, The Haven officially opened its new outdoor bar and back patio Wednesday evening, May 25. This free event featured Combo Indigo, a DC area band featuring Joe Chiocca, Joe Wells, and John David Coppola. The new patio was full of energy and Manager Griffin McDermott was pleased with the crowd. He was happy everyone enjoyed themselves and said, “This is what we all need right now.”
The Haven, a family-owned restaurant, opened its doors in 2015. They wanted to bring fresh ingredients to the neighborhood, and they have their garden alongside the restaurant. The menu features handmade pizzas, fresh salads, burgers, and wings. The staff accommodates allergies and dietary preferences.
The Haven is located at 1401 Belle Haven Road, Alexandria. Hours are Monday-Thursday 11:30 am to 9:00 pm, Friday 11:30 am to 10:00 pm, Saturday 11:00 am to 10:00 pm, and Sunday 11:00 am to 9:00 pm.
