Alexandria Police Christmas Trees Will Send Kids to Camp—Sale Starts Saturday, November 30

“We bought 900 trees this year, and will be on the lot until we sell the very last one,” said Sergeant Marcus Downey.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -“Our annual Christmas tree sale is our largest fundraiser and helps cover the cost of more than 60 kids so that they can attend our summer program,” said Sgt. Marcus Downey of the Alexandria Police Department.

****SALE STARTS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 30****

For more than 70 years, the Alexandria Police Youth Camp has been offering children in Alexandria a place to meet friends, try new exciting adventures and participate in character building activities.

“We bought 900 trees this year, and will be on the lot until we sell the very last one,” said Downey. “We will send 150 kids to camp this year, and this event alone can help send 60.”

Sale starts Saturday, November 30 at the AMTRAK Parking lot, at 110 Callahan Drive. The lot is open Monday through Friday 4 to 8 pm, and Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 8 pm.
