Join the Frosty Fun Workshop with Alexandria Children’s Theatre on December 20!
Alexandria, VA — Alexandria Children’s Theatre (ACT) is offering a day of wintry fun for students ages 5-8 and 9-12 interested in singing, dancing, and special crafts. Creative movement and craft activities or singing and dancing are the basis for the 4- to 5-year-old classes like Winter Stories on the Farm and Winter Songs and Dances. Students aged 6 to 8 can explore acting classes with Act Out the Story along with musical theatre. Acting, singing, dancing, and improvisation are the themes for the 9- to 14-year-old ages ranging from Calling All Detectives to Hamilton Hip Hop-era. Whether students are trying out acting for the first time, or have been to camps and classes before, everyone is welcome at ACT and their skills will grow over the session. All students perform onstage at the final class in March.

Noah’s Fund
Scholarship opportunities are available through Noah’s Fund, ACT’s new asset to address the financial challenges many young families face. We are excited to announce that a Scholarship Angel has stepped up to sponsor students in each of our classes in her grandson’s name. Noah’s Fund grew out of one family’s experience as their young grandson faced more challenges that most of us can imagine as a young boy. He attended Saturday morning classes with Ms. Roberta and discovered a supportive outlet for his creativity over several years and is thriving.
